Middle aged Jang-Pil lives in a small one room apartment in Shinrim-dong. In the past, he might have studied for his bar exam, but now he makes a living by collecting junk, managing the apartment building he lives in and also makes wooden dolls to sell. One day he lends money to a young man in the same apartment building, but the man ends up taking his job. Jang-Pil is also tricked by a woman he met in the neighborhood.

An old couple live in a Japanese village. They make brooms for a living. They have been together. . . and worked together for a long time. Recently, the husband has noticed his wife has had some symptoms of the disease which has caused some obstacles in their work.

The director travels to Almeria in Spain to rescue abandoned greyhounds. Using the method of introspection, she explores abandonment as such and makes a connection between human and canine feelings. Reportage and experimental film merge, dog and human become one in the face of abandonment.
